Kanban is fast becoming the modern way to manage an organization’s delivery of customer value. In today’s always-on environment, you need a clear set of practices that don’t hinder your ability to deliver continuously but that provide enough structure to keep everyone aligned and focused. This training will give you an in-depth introduction to improving effectiveness by applying Kanban flow principles.
In this class, you will learn the basic principles of flow and how to use them to make your flow more efficient, predictable, and effective. With an emphasis on the practical application of concepts, this course includes many hands-on exercises that will lead you through the steps of setting up and operating a Kanban system for continuous value delivery and improvement.

The APK course is for anyone who wants to improve their ability to deliver value and be more effective. Typical attendee roles include Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers/Leaders, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Team Members, Team Leads, etc.
Certification included
Participants who complete our Applying Professional Kanban (APK) course will receive a password to attempt the APK certification assessment and earn the esteemed “Professional Kanban I” certificate provided by ProKanban.org. APK class participants attempting the APK assessment within 14 days of the class and not scoring at least 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost. Upon passing the assessment, you will receive the “Professional Kanban I” (PK I) certification and will be issued credentials through Credly.

Assessment preparation is not the main focus of our workshop. The workshop centers on attendees getting ready to apply new skills back at work and make a real impact in their teams and organizations immediately after the workshop. We value application over certification.
However, we understand that official knowledge verification can be very important to you. You’ve put in the effort to learn new skills, invested your time and money, so you deserve your badge/certificate accordingly. That is the reason why we want to help you with it.
After the workshop, you will receive materials and recommendations for independent preparation for the exam. Additionally, we offer you free group sessions (usually 7-10 days after the end of the workshop) on the topic of exam preparation. We will be there to answer all your questions, resolve your doubts, and re-explain some concepts if necessary.
